Just read a post on Sallie Goetsch's FileSlinger Backup Blog about backing up your blog. I have to confess, it never occured to me to back up my blog until I read this. Since I use Typepad.com I rushed over to their help manual to see how if I could actually back up my posts. Whew! It's possible to export your posts through the Manage function. This task will now be added to my weekly routine.
Don't forget...back up your data today!

Denise,
Speaking of backing up data, what method have you found to be a fairly easy way to do regular back-ups? Are you using any specific software and are you using CD's, tape or what? Might be a good topic of another post?
I've heard some people talking about some method of also duplicating their settings, programs, etc. too. Do you do that or have any recommendations?

I use the back up utility in Windows XP to back up the data on my computer. I back up on to CDs. I also separately back up my accounting program several times a week. There are two things I'd had to lose -- my financial records (I keep very detailed books) and my email. For getting expert advice on backing up, go to Sallie's blog that I referenced in the post.
