This week two bits of info have come to my attention about nanocasting and podcasting that I'm passing on if you're interested in following these emerging internet marketing strategies. First, I was referred to a 30 minute BBC radio program on the history and future developments of podcasting. Will Podcasing Change Radio Forever? Thanks to Mike Collins for this tip. It's worth listening to as several major players in the podcasting world are interviewed. Second, I was just alerted about a new organization called International Nanocasting Alliance.
The International Nanocasting Alliance (INA) is a trade organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of commercial Internet radio and Nanocasting (commercial podcasting) and to promoting the necessary self-regulation required for the industry to stably expand.
For the next 30 days they are offering free 1 year Charter membership. Not sure what Nanocasting is? I wrote a post about it. Learn the difference between nanocasting and podcasting.
P.S. If you want to learn about how to create your own podcasts, join me at Andy Wibbels' Podcasting Bootcamp. The first teleclass is on May 17.
