Steverubel

Have a question about blogs?  Submit a question you would like us to ask Steve Rubel and we'll do our best to get it answered! Submit here:  AskAboutBlogs.com

On Thursday, March 2 The Blog Squad will be conducting a 30 minute interview with A-List blogger, Steve Rubel as part of his social media tour.  The interview will not be open to the public, but it will be recorded and we'll post it here for all to enjoy.

I've been reading Steve's blog, Micro Persuasion since 2004 and appreciate that he's got his finger on the pulse of what's going on in the media, PR, blogs, Web 2.0, podcasting and other social media.

You can hear more great interviews with A-List bloggers on our Conversations with Experts series. The interviews are available as mp3 downloads or on CD.

Additionally, we're offering a 4 CD blogging program on eBay if you're looking for a deal!

Buttcamp and Blogs

Sv500007_1  After lunch today, Tom got on to blogs.  After giving a good overview of blogs and their benefits, he surprised me and Patsi by asking us to come up and give a 10 minute spiel about blogs.  Fortunately we know our subject and we were able to project our blog on the screen and show some of the features and how they can help businesses.

This is what makes Tom a great mentor. He's generous and wants us to succeed as well as acknowledges when others might know more than he does, on a specific subject.

Buttcamp Report #1

0017 Right now I'm in Phoenix at Tom Antion's Electronic Marketing Buttcamp.  I finally figured out how to get my wireless connection working so I decided to make some reports on what we're learning here today.

Tom's going to be covering his 3 prong attack:

  1. Website, shopping cart
  2. Email list development
  3. Product development

Tom's 9 online revenue sources:

  1. Direct sales
  2. Joint Venture deals
  3. Residual Affiliate programs
  4. Ebay Affiliates
  5. Ebay direct sales
  6. Google Adsense
  7. Other Advertising
  8. Teleseminars
  9. Mentor/Coaching/Retreats

More to come. (There's Patsi taking notes.)

Being curious by nature, we have studied the small percentage of authors we have worked with who are successful in making progress, writing on their blogs, organizing their book content, and who are getting published.
