The Blog Squad's 57th Conversation featured Expert Jeff Herring, The Article Guy. Jeff packed in a lot of info about how to use articles to market your business and gave some great tips, many we hadn't heard before, about how to optimize your articles for the article directories.
One tip was totally new to me: print a Tips article and laminate it so it's a mini-poster, to give away or sell at conferences.
Another tip: create multiple articles from the same topic. The ideal length for articles is between 250 and 400 words. You write an article with 7 tips. Then take each tip and expand on each for 7 more articles. A valuable tip that Jeff shared is how to optimize your author resource box.
