Poll: Internet Marketing Challenges
I originally posted the following poll on my previous post about this blog being featured by TypePad. But I think it wasn't getting enough exposure so I am going to feature it here for a few days.
We want to know your biggest online marketing challenges so we can focus our tips and blog posts on what will help you most. Please leave a comment if you have a challenge that's not listed on the poll.

I voted other because my problem isn't understanding marketing. It's understanding the technology needed to implement my marketing ideas.

I picked "Other" because the biggest challenge I have is keeping a consistent tone and trying to avoid constantly shilling my book.

I voted for traffic, just like over 30% of the voters. However the next biggest challenge is gettng people to participate after they come to my blog. Posts that I know are hot topics have maybe one or two comments but hundreds of views. I have seen other blogs in which it seems a daily conversation is going on on every single post...how do these bloggers do it? How do we get people to comment?

Thanks for posting about this poll over on CoachEzines.com. I am really curious about what people struggle with. On our poll at my writing blog, people continually vote that writing promotional copy is the biggest challenge. So I suspect that here, making sales will get the most votes. We'll see.
Of course, making sales is dependent on how many people know you have something for sale (email list & getting found), and of course on creating the right quality products that people want...and then writing persuasive copy that compels them to buy.
