Here are 3 resources you can use right away:
1.Whether or not you already have a website, set up a blog for your business and start writing 2-3 times a week.
A blog will help you get found on the Internet faster and more easily than most online tools, and you’ll be able to start establishing your credibility as an expert, and building a community of like-minded people. Typepad.com is only $5-9/month.
2. Get yourself a free account with FeedBlitz.com so you can start collecting subscribers’ names and email addresses on your blog. With that list, you can send out announcements, your newsletter content, and notifications of your blog updates.
3. Start writing as many articles as you can and submit them to article directories with links back to your blog site. Submitting to article directories is free. Just takes your time. Repurpose your blog posts into longer articles, but keep them to 400-600 words. Post to sites like www.ezinearticles.com (free).
