The Law of Action

In order to be successful marketing your business online, you must approach your marketing tasks using The Law of Action:

  • You must take action before you can solve problems
  • You don't need the perfect solution
  • Any action is better than no action
  • Wrong action leads to corrective action
  • Action doesn't have to cost a fortune
  • Right action is rewarded over and over
  • Energy spent taking right action is replenished and recycled
  • Spirit is fulfilled through right action

Learn how you can apply the Law of Action to your business.

Internet Usage Stats: Why Your Business Needs to be on the Web

Periodically I check the World Internet Usage stats, especially when we're preparing a presentation. The stats are impressive in terms of how many people in the world who have access to and use the Internet. We use the stats to impress upon business owners and professionals that they MUST have a strong presence on the Internet in order to have a successful, growing business.

Here are some stats as of September 30, 2007 (from Nielsen/Net Ratings):

234000,000 use Internet in North America - 70.2% of population
459,000,000 in Asia - 12.4% of population
337,000,000 in Europe - 41.7% of population
1,244,000,000 or 18.9% of world population

More than 1.2 BILLION people world-wide have access to the Internet. Even if only a minute fraction of those users could benefit from your products and services, don't you think it's a good idea to be "findable" on the Web?

D. and Denise Wakeman, also known as The Blog Squad™.

"Some businesses and professionals struggle with leveraging the Internet to attract clients because they think having a great web site is all that’s needed," according to Ms. Wakeman. "Many were told: 'Build it and they will come!'"

The Blog Squad™ recommends using the Law of Action as well. "It’s not enough to have a great brand, book or blog," adds Dr. Krakoff. "The Law of Action applied to marketing on the web simply means you have to put into action the right systems in the right way to attract the right clients to make money on the Web."

When the systems are in place, businesses can successfully attract their target audience and prosper. The top three results you can expect by applying The Law of Action are:

Hot Tech Gifts: What's your favorite?

Iphone Santa (aka The Hubby) was good to me: I got a new iPhone! Of course he got the pink case for it, to match our Blog Squad colors.

So I was thinking, of all the tech tools we've suggested this year, what's your favorite, which have you adopted to make your work life easier?

What time or energy saving tools have you discovered or acquired this past year that you can recommend? Which ones have you tried but were a waste of time and money?
