I confess. I'm starting to get hooked on Twitter. I set up a Twitter account almost a year ago after hearing about it at BlogHer Business last April. But I just didn't see the point. I set up a system to sync my blog posts with my Twitter account and left it at that. No participation, no replying to "tweets".
But in the last couple of weeks I'm getting dozens of emails telling me people are "following" me. So I've started checking these people out and in turn following them.
Today, I finally started interacting and had some good quick conversations with a couple of colleagues who I helped out with some info and who in turned helped me when I asked a question.
So, if you like instant gratification and immediate responses to your queries, Twitter is the way to go. If you want to follow me, here's my Twitter profile.

How do you sync your blog posts with Twitter? I've yet to get sucked into twittering.

I use http://www.twitterfeed.com to pull my blog posts into my Twitter account. There may be other apps out there as well.

There is no limit! It's great...
Found setting up my feed to twitter was tedious to say the least so I hope it is all ok now!
Thanks for all the info Denise... greatly appreciated!

I just joined Twitter. I also had my 13 y/o daughter sign up also, so she can help me figure it out. I get the general idea but, just having a hard time understanding how to reply to people.
I did make the badge that includes Twitters from people that I follow. I posted that on my Social Network profiles so maybe my friends can also get noticed. Not sure if that will help or not.
I will be following you all to get pointers.
Thank you!
