Blogs are great tools for authors. First of all, you can turn your book into a blog as you mention. A blog is also a great author platform builder in that as an author blogs regularly, the author is establishing credibility and interacting with other experts in his or her field. And of course, a blog is a great way to capture customer information and sell books.
