Talk Biz News, I just learned about
Ask500People.com an online survey tool that posts your one-question survey and lets you get answers from all over the world. You can also post a widget on your blog with your survey question or send a link to your list. If your poll gets enough votes it may make it to the home page and get more exposure.
As with so many new online tools, you can set up a profile with info about yourself or your biz, a link to your blog or website and a photo.
Here's a link to my poll asking your preferred way of creating awareness for your business online:

Thanks for the post, and glad you like Ask500People.com. As you noted, polls can be embedded or linked regardless of whether it's upvoted to the front page. We've just rolled out more robust demographics collection, and we're focusing more on features of specific interest to business users. If you have other comments or suggestions, we're all ears!

Denise, is the poll now closed? I went there and poked all over the page and was unable to find a link to vote. I found results, but no where to vote.
I even signed up and agreed to terms, but no way to vote...

Denise, thank you for sharing it with us. It's another great tool for our online marketing mix.
~Stan.
BTW: I'd say they clearly have a usability issue, though. To vote one should find that little vote button in the right/top cornet of the map. It took me some time to figure that out. I kept trying only because I had Denise's recommendation, otherwise I would leave the site before I'd fond that sliding voting control. So, not perfect yet but the idea is brilliant.
