Thanks to Chris Brogan, it's was brought to my attention that my Google profile was not up to snuff! In a post today, Brogan revealed how he discovered his profile on Google when he posted a review for a local business.
If you have an account with Google (Gmail, Google calendar, Google Reader, etc.) then you have a profile. What does it reveal about you? I checked mine out and found my picture and a couple of links to blogs.
However, you can add a blurb about yourself (with HTML so you can link to your site or a free report or free ecourse!). Plus you can add links to your blog, Twitter profile, Facebook, Flickr...whatever you want.
You never know who might stumble on your profile on Google, so it makes sense to take a couple of minutes to add links and a brief statement about who you are and what you do.
Then, there's Google Local Business Center. Did you know you can add your company info to Google and include photos, videos and coupons?
This is another must-do task for assuring more online visibility from Google.

Thanks for the tip! I had no idea that my Google Footprint was even bigger then I thought. I thought it was a size 2, turns out to be a 2.5!
I wonder if you have three different Google accounts if that would mean 3 different profiles to tweak, or if they would consider it bad form to use multiple profiles to send traffic to the same site.
