Have you seen Pam Brossman's new virtual magazine - Social Media Woman? Pam is using a very cool tool to deliver a magazine-style experience on the web. The digital publishing tool Pam's using is Issuu. And guys, you don't have to be a woman to get a lot of value from this publication. It is full of meaty articles about online marketing with an emphasis on video marketing.
Not only can you check out the magazine on her site, bloggers like me can embed the issues on my site as well. Here's the July issue which includes 7 Ideas to Inspire Your Blog Content (an excerpt from one of my articles). Click on the cover image to open the magazine.
What do you think of the format? Do you think it's a viable alternative to the old-school ezine?

I think this is a truly unique mag and just what I'd like to get each month or quarterly. How wonderful to have one place to go and get caught up on everything SM and those who are bringing us something new and different. Bravo Pam Brossman!

That looks like a very cool widget allowing you to read the mag online.
THanks for sharing

The mag content looks really great, and although it is really eyecatching I found it a little hard to read online even with the funky gizmo to zoom in. Thanks for showing it to us.

This is so inspiring, and I truly believe this will be a very viable and affordable format for publishers and readers alike. Your content was great too, Denise!

Another cool publishing tool that I've been using to repurpose longer blog articles is Yudu. You can see it in action here:

Thanks for the info

Denise, I have been using Paper.li,http://paper.li it organizes links shared on Twitter into an easy to read newspaper-style format. A great way to stay on top of all that is shared by the people you follow - even if you are not connected 24/7.
The newspaper will be created using all the links (articles)shared in the past 24 hours by the selected Twitter account (curator)AND the people being followed by that user (contributors) This way you don't miss some cool stuff that people are tweeting about.

Thanks for sharing the magazine the feedback here on your page has been great. Alina I totally hear what you are saying about reading online that is why it comes in two formats. Some people like to skim through and click on links of interest straight away and they read the online version and then you can access the download for those who like to read in their own time or print off the information as a .pdf. If you would like to download the .pdf version (content is fantastic this month) http://www.socialmediawoman.com/magazine/magazine.
Thanks for sharing Denise your articles are always brilliant.
Cheers

I like the style of the magazine, easy to read and the articles look well done. Using social media as an Internet marketing tool is a good idea.
