In my last post I told you about a huge JV fundraising event and a few people saw the value and jumped on board right away. What I don't understand is why everyone who does business online isn't playing. Maybe it's because I have not explained the benefits to you well enough.
First, I do not promote or participate in scammy, get rich quick promotions. I do tell you about opportunities for you to make a difference, boost your visiblity and build your business. This is one of those opportunities.
The NAMS4Kids JV event is a fundraising event and product give-away like none other I've seen. The bottom line is that it's a fundraiser for Dr. Mani's Childrens Heart Foundation to raise funds to provide life-saving heart surgery for children with congenital heart disease who have no other way to afford the surgery.
Why is this important for you?
David Perdew, who is organizing this huge undertaking as a learning tool and contest for NAMS4, has created a really cool way for you to make a difference, save lives AND get enormous exposure for your business. It's a win all the way around.
By participating, you get to feel really good about giving back to those who have less than you and you get to put your business in front of tens of thousands of people. Sounds good, right?
As a JV partner, you agree to give away one of your products as part of a package to anyone who makes a contribution to Dr. Mani's foundation. You promote this event to your list as will hundreds of others. There is no cost to participate.
Now let's say you don't care about the feel-good part (I would find that hard to believe). For only $17 - a very cheap advertising investment - you can upgrade and get so much more.
- Promote 3 products instead of 1 (3 times the visibility for your business)
- Get 3 text ads that rotate through the give-away site (even more visibililty and the opportunity to send people to a lead generation report or a product)
- Priority placement of your product(s) so more people see them
- The $17 upgrade fee goes to Dr. Mani directly
- Opportunity to win one of three computers if you refer the most partners and/or donors.
Actually, that $17 is split 50/50: 50% to Dr. Mani and 50% to the person who referred you. In my case, if you join the event through me, I'm donating my commission back to Dr. Mani.
If you are doing business online, this program makes good business sense. You will learn a tremendous amount about how to do a massive JV fundraising/give-away event like this, and, if you have your systems set up optimally, you'll build a great list of qualified buyers, boost your visibility on the web and make some sales with your follow-up marketing.

What should you contribute to the product pool?
It doesn't matter what business you're in. There are products on fitness, hypnosis, social media, how to implement mobile SMS marketing, free Wordpress themes, NLP, blogging, PR, personal empowerment, marketing for introverts (that's me!), Dutch Oven recipes, alternative medicine and much more.
If you have an ebook, an audio program, software, mini-course, or video tutorial product you can give away, then do it. Make sure you set up a landing page that requires an email address to get the gift, or make sure the product has links to other products and freebies so you can attract these qualified people to get more info from you and your business.
I'm giving away a copy of my program "How to Drive Quality Traffic to Your Blog." and I'm thinking about adding another product to the give-away.
