Rick Raddatz was my guest on a call to discuss conference call best practices and highlight his new conference calling system, NConnects. Rick is also the developer of InstantTeleseminar, my all time favorite teleseminar system. Now, combined with the features of NConnects, the system is even more powerful.
In this call, Rick not only talked about NConnects but shared several gems about using conference calls and teleseminars to teach and sell. You've got to listen to all 82 minutes to catch the nuggets of gold.
We also discussed teleseminar horror stories and then I actually experienced one on the call! The call went long and I was so engrossed in the conversation that I didn't pay attention to the fact that the webcast recording ended, even though we were still on the line. So everyone on the webcast got cut off. Yikes! That's never happened to me before. Luckily, I was also connected to the NConnects system so I had a backup recording so you don't miss a thing.
Here's the audio... (1:22:31)
NConnects just launched on May 19 and I highly recommend you check it out. The host control panel, the back up systems and the dial-out feature are worth considering if you host teleseminars on a regular basis. You get a free 30 day trial so you can decide if it works for you. Me? I'll be upgrading my InstantTeleseminar account so I can use NConnects.
About Rick Raddatz
Rick Raddatz has been interested in marketing and sales for most of his life, perhaps because Rick's dad was a serial entrepreneur. Back when Rick was in college, computers looked to be the future. There was a little upstart company called Microsoft that came calling. During his time at Microsoft, Rick helped to design, develop and market such products and groups as Visual Basic, MSN, Microsoft Research, Sidewalk.com, and MSN Shopping.
In 2000, Rick left Microsoft. He exercised his Microsoft options at top dollar (right before they lost half of their value in the dotcom bust...) and plotted his future. Seeing the monster-sized marketing power of the Internet, he anticipated the next wave... audio. Now, with his company Xiosoft, Rick has developed such products as MarketingMakeoverGenerator, InstantAudio, and InstantVideoGenerator as well as InstantTeleseminar and the just launched NConnects Conference Calling system.
